---------------
You must have heard about the repressive Islamic regime in Iran through mass media, but how many times have you heard, or read about political prisoners and their situation in Iran?
The Campaign to Free Political Prisoners in Iran (CFPPI) has been formed to draw attention to the situation of political prisoners in Iran and build an international solidarity. This main objective of CFPPI is to organize a vast campaign to gather an international support for unconditional freedom of all political prisoners in Iran regardless of their belief and opinion. Political prisoners in Iran need support, their voices needs to be heard loud and clear worldwide, their inhumane conditions imposed by the Islamic regime must be exposed, and they must be freed immediately and unconditionally.
On 20 June 2011, CFPPI established this day to be International Day of protest in Support of Political Prisoners in Iran. This followed by demonstrations being held in 50 cities across the globe.
This year we are organising another worldwide event.

The Islamic Regime of Iran must be isolated politically and diplomatically on an international level, and their diplomats and delegates must be expelled from all international communities such as the United Nations, especially the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and the International Labour Organization (ILO).
